Masizame Children Shelter

Masizame has been protecting vulnerable children in Plettenberg Bay since 1992 and was registered with the Department of Social Development in 2001.

It provides professional childcare services, including statutory care for 30 children (aged 3 to 18) in the children's home, a drop-in center for children living or working on the streets, and a range of early intervention and awareness services, including an ECD center for 120 children and their adult carers from impoverished communities of Bitou in the Eden Karoo district.
